Today we were visited by brothers Nate and Nick Ayers (Nate worked at Angell several years ago as a Teaching Assistant, and Nick was a noon hour supervisor last year) to learn about the importance of forests and our role in helping to take care of them. We also heard beautiful music played by Nick on instruments from around the world; a few videos are included below! Nate and Nick also brought in a real live biodiverse native forest of trees for us to observe, and gave us a small white cedar as a gift to keep in our classroom!
