Early this week we took advantage of the lovely weather and enjoyed Writer's Workshop in the outdoor learning area.
We continued our study of rocks this week and sorted rocks according to the three types: metamorphic, igneous and sedimentary. We have also enjoyed literature related to rocks.
We continue to hear stories each week during "Author's Chair". The students enjoy hearing one another's stories and asking one another questions. Hearing other writer's work is also a great way to spark new ideas for writing.
