Two very exciting happenings this week! We received our first set of letters from our 1st & 2nd grade penpals over at Ann Arbor Open. (The teacher is Mrs. Metry, who happens to be Mr. G's wife!) The children were very excited to read their letters, share with friends, and then set quickly to work on writing return letters.
International Night was a huge success and so much learning and fun took place! Huge thanks to all the parents who worked tirelessly on the event, and again to Mia Risberg for all her time, expertise, and enthusiasm in teaching us about this lovely place! We took a tour around the school this morning to visit the displays again, or for the first time for those children who couldn't attend last night. We even took shifts enjoying quiet reading time in Mr. G's yurt!
