We had a wonderful time on our trip to UMMA last Wednesday.  Big thanks to Mrs. Malani, Mr. Selcer, Mrs. Camacho, Mr. Dodds and Mr. Ding for joining us as chaperones on the trip!

Grids & Games

The students have been learning to code with Mrs. Danziger in PLTW.  They began with cards and game boards and have now moved on to coding on the iPads using an app called Scratch Jr.

The Ice Pop Challenge

The students have been learning all about states of matter with Ms. Danziger over the past few weeks in Project Lead the Way.  They used their knowledge of states of matter, insulators and conductors to work in teams to create coolers that could keep ice pops frozen for a half hour.  It was wonderful to see the students' team work, reasoning, and pride in their work.  

We will be having ice pops on Monday to celebrate all the hard work!
